Mileage
When an agent clocks out, WAYDOT reads their shift's GPS trail and splits it into trips (from where to where, at what time and how many km). What was driven in an own vehicle can be claimed as an expense; what was driven in a company one counts towards fleet mileage.
Where it is: Finance → Mileage. Who sees it: people allowed to read expenses. Plan: Expenses and mileage module.

Under Claim: Not claimed. The agent claims what they drove in their own vehicle from the field app, or the claim with Open claim.
How trips are built
- Standing still for 5 minutes (configurable) splits the trail into two trips: longer than a traffic light, shorter than a visit.
- A stop spans a 100 m radius (configurable); a trip must move at least that far from where it started to count.
- Mocked or low-accuracy readings are kept but not measured, and a jump at an impossible speed isn't counted.
Claiming mileage
From the app, the agent picks the day's trips in their own vehicle and sends them as a Mileage claim; they can question one that doesn't look right. The amount comes from their policy's mileage rate; see Expenses.
