GPS integrity
WAYDOT checks the locations field phones send and raises a finding when something isn't believable: a fake location, an impossible jump between two points or an unrealistic sustained speed. They're reviewed and decided here.
Where it is: Compliance → GPS integrity → Integrity queue. Who sees it: everyone their own trail; with read location trails across your territories, those in their territories. Reviewing needs review flagged location anomalies (compliance managers and super administrators). Plan: Geolocation module.

Kinds of finding
| Finding | Meaning | Rule (default) |
|---|---|---|
| Mock location | The phone reported the position came from an app that fakes locations. | Every position while mock location is on. |
| Impossible jump | A segment between two locations implies an impossible speed. | A single segment over 1,000 km/h. |
| Sustained excessive speed | Several consecutive segments above road speeds. It isn't a speeding alert: a bad GPS reading reaches it as easily as fraud does. | 3 consecutive segments over 160 km/h. |
Readings less accurate than 50 m are stored but never raise a finding. Thresholds are changed in Platform settings → Location.
The queue
Each finding shows who, when, the kind and the Review status: To review, Confirmed or Dismissed. Filter by status, person and date. View finding opens it; Show route trail opens that person's day on the route trail.
A finding

| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| What it means | The explanation of the kind of finding. |
| Measurements | Distance moved, Time between fixes and Implied speed. |
| Who | The person and the device. |
| Route trail | The map of the day around the finding. |
| Review | Reviewed by, when, the outcome and What was checked. |
Reviewing
Until reviewed it asks you to check the trail around the finding's time before deciding.
- Look at the trail: is there a real jump, or an isolated location that returns to the road?
- Choose Review this finding.
- Outcome: Confirmed: the location was not genuine or Dismissed: nothing wrong.
- What you checked (a minimum length): the note stays on the finding.
A confirmed finding stays on the person's integrity record and can justify withholding approval of that shift's hours or checking their devices.
